These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the legal agreement between you and ConfigurAI when you buy any of our services, use the website, subscribe to the newsletter, or take part in the ConfigurAI community.
Please read them carefully. By enrolling in a cohort, booking an AI Audit, signing up to the newsletter, joining the community, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a purchase or use of the services.
1. Who we are
Business name: ConfigurAI (operated by Orgesa Meli, sole trader)
Location: Twickenham, London, United Kingdom
Email: support@configurai.com
Website: configurai.com
Course portal: courses.configurai.com
In these Terms, "ConfigurAI", "we", "us" or "our" means Orgesa Meli trading as ConfigurAI. "You" or "your" means the person buying or using the services.
2. What we offer
ConfigurAI provides four products and services covered by these Terms:
- The Cohorts. Six-week training programmes available in two variants: "ConfigurAI: Applied AI Leadership and Automation" (for employed professionals) and "ConfigurAI: AI Systems for Business Growth" (for business owners). Each cohort is delivered with weekly live group sessions, six modules of self-paced video content, and a personalised pre-course AI Audit. Both award the Executive Certification in AI Leadership, Automation and Transformation upon completion.
- The AI Audit. A one-to-one diagnostic service consisting of a 30 to 45 minute live Zoom interview, a personalised written report, and a 30 minute follow-up consultation. Available in Professionals and Business Owners versions.
- The Newsletter. A free weekly email about practical AI for professionals and business owners.
- The Community. An online membership space for ConfigurAI graduates and members (when launched, subject to separate Community Code of Conduct).
Separate terms apply to corporate training contracts. These Terms do not cover corporate engagements, which are agreed under a Master Services Agreement signed by both parties.
3. About you
To buy any ConfigurAI service you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Provide accurate registration and payment information
Our services are designed for individuals based in the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions where it is lawful to provide them. We reserve the right to refuse service or restrict access from any jurisdiction where we are not able to comply with local law.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes at the time of purchase. ConfigurAI is currently below the UK VAT registration threshold (£90,000), so VAT is not charged. If this changes, prices may be updated, and updated prices will be communicated clearly before purchase.
The price you see on the website is the total price for the service. There are no hidden fees, booking charges, or compulsory add-ons.
Payment is taken at the point of purchase through Stripe. ConfigurAI does not store your full card details. Card processing is governed by Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
Currency conversion fees imposed by your card issuer for international payments are outside ConfigurAI's control.
5. Your statutory cooling-off period
If you are a consumer (an individual buying outside your trade or business) and you buy a service from ConfigurAI online, you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day you make the booking, without giving any reason.
How to cancel
To cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period, you must send a clear statement of your decision to support@configurai.com. You may use the cancellation form in Schedule A at the bottom of these Terms, but you are not required to.
What you get back
If you cancel within the 14-day period and the cohort or service has not yet begun, you will receive a 100% refund within 14 days of telling us, via the same payment method you used.
If you have expressly asked us to begin providing the service within the 14-day period (for example, by accessing the pre-cohort audit or downloading any digital materials), and you then cancel:
- For the service portion already provided, you will be charged a fair proportion of the price based on what has been performed.
- For digital content (such as downloaded templates or accessed modules) where you confirmed at checkout that you understood you would lose your right to a refund once content was supplied, no refund will be given for that content.
You will be asked at checkout to confirm whether you wish to begin the service immediately and whether you waive your right to a refund for digital content. These boxes are not pre-ticked. Ticking them is your choice.
6. Refund schedule beyond the cooling-off period
Once the cooling-off period has expired, ConfigurAI offers the following refund arrangements for the Cohort. These reflect the work already undertaken by ConfigurAI at each stage.
| Stage | Refund |
|---|---|
| Within the 14-day cooling-off period, before the cohort begins, no digital content accessed | 100% |
| Within 14 days, content accessed (after express request and waiver) | Pro-rata for service; no refund for accessed digital content |
| After 14 days but before Week 1 live call | 75% |
| After Week 1 but before Week 3 live call | 50% |
| After Week 3 | No refund (a discretionary credit toward a future cohort may be offered) |
| If ConfigurAI cancels the cohort | 100% refund plus a £25 goodwill credit |
For the AI Audit, the refund schedule is:
| Stage | Refund |
|---|---|
| Cancelled more than 48 hours before the live interview | 100% |
| Cancelled within 48 hours of the interview | 50% |
| After the interview has taken place | No refund (a discretionary credit may be offered if the report has not yet been issued) |
| If ConfigurAI cancels the interview | 100% refund |
These refund terms apply in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the service we provide is not performed with reasonable care and skill, or otherwise does not meet the standards required by law, you remain entitled to the statutory remedies set out below in Section 9.
7. Delivery and access
The Cohort. Pre-recorded modules are released through the course portal at courses.configurai.com on the cohort start date. Live calls take place weekly on Zoom, on the day and time advertised before purchase. A replay of each live call is made available to enrolled participants for the duration of the cohort. You will retain access to the course materials for at least 12 months after the cohort ends, except where extended access is offered as part of a specific cohort.
The AI Audit. Booking is via a secure Stripe checkout. Upon payment confirmation, you are redirected to a calendar to choose a Zoom slot at your convenience. The report is sent within 7 working days of the live interview. The follow-up consultation is booked at your convenience within 30 days of receiving the report.
The Newsletter. Delivered weekly to the email address you provided. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
The Community. Access is granted within 7 days of payment or cohort enrolment, depending on membership type.
ConfigurAI aims to deliver all services to a high standard within the timeframes set out above. If we are delayed for reasons within our control, we will tell you and offer a fair resolution.
8. Cohort participation
By enrolling in the Cohort, you agree to the following:
- Live call attendance is encouraged but not guaranteed. If you cannot attend a live call, a recording will be made available. Missed live calls do not entitle you to a refund.
- Recording of all live calls is standard practice. By joining a live call, you consent to your participation being recorded for the benefit of the cohort and for replay access. You may turn your camera off if you prefer. Recordings will not be used in marketing materials without your express written consent.
- Code of conduct. Cohort participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other participants and toward Orgesa. ConfigurAI may, at its discretion, remove a participant from the cohort without refund where the participant engages in harassment, discrimination, or other behaviour that materially damages the cohort experience for others. Any such removal will be communicated in writing with reasons.
- No solicitation. Cohort participants must not use the cohort or community as a platform to sell their own products or services to other participants without ConfigurAI's prior written consent.
- No sharing of materials. Course materials, live call recordings, templates and other content are licensed to you for your own use only. You must not share, redistribute, resell, or publish them.
- Cohort size. Cohorts are capped at a maximum of 15 participants. ConfigurAI reserves the right to run a cohort with fewer than 15 participants if commercially appropriate.
9. Service standards and your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, when you buy a service from ConfigurAI you are entitled to expect that:
- The service will be performed with reasonable care and skill
- Any information ConfigurAI provides about the service that you rely on is binding
- The service will be performed within a reasonable time (where no specific time was agreed)
If we fail to meet these standards, you have the right to:
- Ask us to redo the affected part of the service at no extra cost, within a reasonable time
- If redoing is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, claim a price reduction, which may be up to 100% of the price depending on the circumstances
These are statutory rights that we cannot exclude or limit by contract.
If you believe the service has not met these standards, please contact support@configurai.com so we can investigate and put it right.
10. Intellectual property
All course materials, including modules, recordings, templates, workflows, slides, frameworks, written materials, the personalised pre-cohort workflow, and the AI Audit report, are the intellectual property of ConfigurAI (Orgesa Meli). They are protected by copyright and other intellectual property law.
What you can do
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the materials provided to you for your own personal or in-house business use, for the duration of your access to them.
What you cannot do
You may not, without ConfigurAI's prior written consent:
- Share, redistribute, resell, sub-license, or publish any of the materials
- Post the materials to file-sharing services, social media, or public forums
- Reverse-engineer the materials or remove proprietary notices
- Use the materials, in whole or in part, to train any artificial intelligence model or system
- Use the ConfigurAI name, logo, or trademarks for commercial purposes
Any output you create using ConfigurAI's templates or workflows is yours to keep. If ConfigurAI wishes to use any anonymised excerpt of your work as a case study or testimonial, we will ask for your express written consent first.
11. Newsletter and direct marketing
When you subscribe to the ConfigurAI newsletter, you give us consent to send you weekly emails about practical AI for professionals and business owners. We rely on your consent (under UK GDPR and PECR) for newsletter delivery.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We will stop sending the newsletter and remove you from active subscriber lists. A suppressed-email record may be retained to prevent re-subscription in error.
If you are an existing paying customer, we may also send you occasional emails about related ConfigurAI services under the commercial soft opt-in permitted by PECR. You can opt out of these at any time.
We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
12. Community participation
If you take part in the ConfigurAI community, a separate Community Code of Conduct applies in addition to these Terms. By joining the community you agree to:
- Treat other members with respect
- Not post illegal, harassing, hateful, defamatory or otherwise harmful content
- Not share confidential information or personal data of third parties
- Not use the community as a platform to sell to other members without prior consent
- Respect the intellectual property of ConfigurAI and other members
ConfigurAI reserves the right to remove content, suspend access, or terminate membership for breach of these rules. Where the community is hosted on a third-party platform (such as Discord, Circle, or similar), that platform's own terms of service also apply.
ConfigurAI takes reasonable steps to keep the community safe. If you see content that you believe is illegal or harmful, please report it to support@configurai.com. We will assess and act on reports without undue delay.
13. AI tools: important notice
ConfigurAI provides training and consultancy on the practical use of artificial intelligence tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, and others. The following terms apply specifically to AI tools.
Informational and educational only
All content, recommendations and demonstrations involving AI tools are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical, regulatory, or professional advice. You should obtain independent professional advice before acting on anything taught or demonstrated.
No endorsement of AI tools
ConfigurAI references and demonstrates a range of AI tools for educational purposes only. We do not recommend, endorse, certify, vet, or accept responsibility for any specific AI tool, model, provider, or third-party service. The inclusion or discussion of any tool is illustrative and does not constitute a recommendation for any specific use.
Your responsibility when using AI tools
You are solely responsible for:
- Selecting, evaluating, and using any AI tool
- The data, prompts, files, and inputs you submit to any AI tool
- Reviewing and verifying any output, including for accuracy, bias, hallucinations, intellectual property issues and confidentiality
- Complying with applicable law (including UK GDPR, the EU AI Act where relevant, copyright law, and any sector-specific regulation)
- The consequences of acting on AI-generated output
AI-specific risks
AI tools present privacy, accuracy and operational risks. Outputs may be wrong, fabricated, biased, or infringe third-party rights. Inputs may be stored, logged, or used to train future models depending on the tool and your account tier. You must not input personal data of third parties, confidential information, or special category data (such as health, biometric, or sexual orientation data) into AI tools without appropriate lawful basis and contractual protection.
ConfigurAI accepts no responsibility for any consequence of your use of any AI tool. Third-party AI tools are operated by their own providers and are subject to their own terms.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes ConfigurAI's liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law
Subject to the above, and in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- ConfigurAI's total aggregate liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for that service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
- ConfigurAI shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption.
- ConfigurAI shall not be liable for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on any AI tool, AI output, or third-party service discussed or demonstrated by ConfigurAI.
These limits apply to the maximum extent permitted by law and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
15. Force majeure
ConfigurAI shall not be in breach of these Terms, nor liable for any failure to perform, where the failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Pandemic, epidemic, or public-health emergency
- Government action or restriction
- Civil unrest, war, terrorism, or sabotage
- Fire, flood, earthquake, or natural disaster
- Failure of utilities, internet, electricity, or telecommunications
- Failure or significant outage of Zoom, the course portal, payment processor, or AI tools beyond our reasonable control
- Illness, incapacity, or unforeseen unavailability of Orgesa Meli as sole provider
In such cases ConfigurAI will:
- Notify you within a reasonable time of becoming aware of the event
- Take reasonable steps to mitigate the impact
- Reschedule affected sessions within 90 days at no cost, where possible
- Where rescheduling is impossible, deliver substitute content or a pro-rata refund
If the event continues for more than 90 days, either party may terminate the affected service and you will receive a pro-rata refund of any amounts paid for the unconsumed portion.
16. Accessibility and reasonable adjustments
ConfigurAI is committed to providing services that are accessible to all participants regardless of disability or other protected characteristics. We will make reasonable adjustments to enable disabled participants to take part in the cohort and other services, including providing captions on recorded content, transcripts where requested, and flexibility on attendance where reasonably necessary.
If you require an adjustment, please contact support@configurai.com as early as possible so we can put it in place.
17. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your ConfigurAI experience, please contact support@configurai.com with the subject line "Complaint" and a description of the issue.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and provide a substantive response within 20 working days. If we cannot resolve the complaint to your satisfaction, we may suggest using an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. ConfigurAI is not currently a member of a mandatory ADR scheme, but we are willing to consider mediation through a Chartered Trading Standards Institute approved provider such as CEDR.
You also have the right to take a complaint to your local Trading Standards office or to use the Small Claims Court if appropriate.
18. Changes to these Terms
ConfigurAI may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, in our services, or in our business. The "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms shows when the most recent changes were made.
For existing customers, material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel any active service and receive a refund of any unused portion.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and ConfigurAI agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer based outside the United Kingdom, this choice of law does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
20. General
If any part of these Terms is found by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remains in full force.
A failure or delay by ConfigurAI to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
These Terms together with our Privacy Policy and any specific terms attached to a particular service form the complete agreement between you and ConfigurAI regarding your use of our services.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
